Minimalist Kitchen

A minimalist kitchen is all about less fuss and less bother, less financial and health cost, and less time spent on food preparation, so that you have more free time to spend on the things that are really important to you.

It is also about choosing a way of eating that causes minimal impact on the environment, uses the fewest resources and contributes to the earth in a positive way.

It is about minimizing expenses with respect to food, potentially minimizing your dependence on or addiction to certain unhealthy foods (which cost you money and years of your life) and becoming more self sufficient.

The Ultimate Diet For A Minimalist Kitchen - A Raw Food Diet

The raw food diet is the ultimate diet for a minimalist lifestyle. To find out more check out my raw food diet website: Loving-It-Raw.com

The raw food diet fits fabulously into a minimalist lifestyle.

You need so much less! You don't need a stove, you don't need steamers, grillers, pots or pans. You don't even need blenders, spiralizers, food processors or juicers (though I do like it that I have these!).

In my raw vegan minimalist kitchen, I don't even need a kettle (though I have a tiny one!).

Eating raw can be food freedom. You're eating food that requires no processing. Fruits need no embellishment and can be eaten as they are, providing perfect packages of nutrition (carbs, fat, protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, it's all there!).

Simple salads and raw soups don't require much preparation at all. Eating a raw food diet, means that at the MOST, you do the same amount of prep work as you would with a cooked meal, but after the prep work you're ready to eat, rather than just ready to cook.

You don't have to spend hours washing greasy dishes afterwards either!

A quick rinse under a tap and you're good to go.

The next best thing for a minimalist kitchen: A Plant Based High Raw Diet

If you'd rather not go the whole hog for the ultimate minimalist kitchen, then embrace as many of the concepts as fit in with your lifestyle and your definition of minimalism.

Becoming a vegan goes a long way towards lessening your dependence on consumerism.

Let's face it, we know that the rampant consumerism of our current society is destroying our planet. One way to counter this is to adopt a minimalist lifestyle.

Minimalism is a sustainable lifestyle. You can choose to embrace minimalism at any level, but if you choose to embrace it in your kitchen, then you may want to consider a vegan diet as this uses the fewest resources possible.

The more raw food you add to that, the more your health and the planet will thank you. And the more free time and money you'll have! It's a win win win!

Food doesn't have to be expensive. Indeed, fresh vegetables and their associates can be pretty cheap. Stop eating out all of the time, start learning to cook good food. Everett Bogue

Eating at home and creating your own minimalist kitchen is crucial when it comes to saving money. Eating at restaurants or eating take outs is enormously expensive to you both in terms of your money and your health.

Cook at home, and save yourself a ton of money, or even better, just eat fruit and veggies, raw!

But minimalism in food goes beyond [eating less]. It extends to what you eat, and how you prepare it. You want to eat foods in as natural a state as possible, avoiding processed foods. And you want to prepare them simply, so you don't have to eat fast food or spend all day in the kitchen. Leo Babauta

A raw food diet and lifestyle works for me, but find what works for you and embrace minimalism in your kitchen in whatever way you can. You'll be so glad you did!
